Notice of Adopted and Filed Regulations on Tax Payment Options of the Department of Revenue

On January 19, 2024, the Alaska Department of Revenue adopted changes to regulations in Chapter 15 of Title 5 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern Tax Payment Options.

The regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on January 29, 2024, and are effective on February 28, 2024. Attached is a copy of the filed regulations.

The regulations will first appear in Register 249, April 2024, of the Alaska Administrative Code.

The adopted regulations:
- Amend language for procedures and definitions for ACH credit, ACH debit, and wire transfer payment options for taxes.
- Amend language to allow for credit card payments for taxes.
