The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Matanuska Electric Association, Inc. (MEA) filed TA554-18, proposing to revise some of its non-recurring and streetlight installation charges. A selection of the current and proposed charges is shown below.

MEA proposes to remove the charge for meter read and proposes a new charge for after-hours disconnect/reconnect of $1,080.00. In addition, MEA proposes to discontinue installation of new high-pressure sodium (HPS) streetlights while continuing to offer service to existing HPS streetlight customers at the current rates.
