Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA427-121 and TA549-8, proposing to revise its monthly Electric Reliability Organization (ERO) charge to recover its portion of the 2024 ERO surcharge. The 2024 ERO surcharge was approved on an interim basis by the Commission with Order No. E-23-002(1) and functions to recover the cost of running the ERO from its constituent load serving entities (LSEs). 3 AAC 46.420(e) and (f) permit each LSE to implement a separate charge, without prior Commission approval, on its bills to retail customers to collect the Commission-approved ERO surcharge it is assessed.
With TA427-121 and TA549-8, Chugach proposes a $0.00054 per kilowatt hour (kWh) charge to recover the ERO surcharge. The surcharge is effective January 1, 2024.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions and the Commission may approve a rate or classification that varies from those proposed.
