Alaska Workers' Compensation Appeals Commission

NOTICE OF ADOPTED AND FILED REGULATIONS OF

THE ALASKA WORKERS’ COMPENSATION APPEALS COMMISSION

 

 

On December 28, 2023, the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Appeals Commission adopted regulations in 8 AAC 57. The regulations clarify appeal and petition for review procedures and allow the clerk to issue certain orders.

 

The regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on January 5, 2024, and are effective on February 4, 2024. Attached is a copy of the filed regulations.

 

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 249, April 2024, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
