Alaska Highway Gerstle River Bridge Replacement

Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) invites you to participate in an ONLINE Open House to learn about the proposed replacement of the Gerstle River Bridge (#0520) on the Alaska Highway at approximate
MP 1393.

The Online Open House can be accessed on a tab at the top of the page on the following website:

The project is currently in the preliminary design and environmental reconnaissance stage and we would appreciate your comments. Comments can be made through the Online Open House through December 31, 2023 or by contacting Jennifer Wright, P.E., Engineering Manager:

All public comments received will be recorded, transcribed, become a part of the public record, and may be subject to Freedom of Information Act requests.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by DOT&PF pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated April 13, 2023, and executed by FHWA and DOT&PF.
