INVITATION TO OFFERORS
The State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, subject to the provisions of AS 41.21.020 will receive sealed proposals for:
KRSMA: Eagle Rock Upper Parking Subsurface Investigation, Project No. 72018-1

The Division recently acquired a 35-acre parcel adjacent to its Eagle Rock boat launch facility located in Kenai, Alaska and is planning to expand the parking capacity for that park unit. The immediate project area is undeveloped except for a driveway to the Kenai Spur Highway and a primitive road that leads to a clearing at the edge of the bluff overlooking the boat launch facility. The Contractor shall provide professional services to include mobilization and demobilization, onsite subsurface investigation, soil sampling and testing, analysis, reporting, and geotechnical engineering recommendations to include embankment design, stairs and ELP walkway foundation, groundwater management, stabilization of saturated slopes, etc.
The proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on December 27, 2023 at the Division's Anchorage office, 550 W. 7th Avenue, Suite 1340, Anchorage, Alaska 99501-3565 at which time and place the proposals shall be publicly opened and read.
Proposals may be held by the Division for a period of forty (40) calendar days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications of the offerors prior to awarding the contract.
