Brief Description: The Board of Dental Examiners (Board) proposes to adopt regulations changes in Title 12, Chapter 28 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with repealing regulations relating to dental radiological equipment to implement statutory changes to AS 08.36 under Chapter 56, SLA 2022 (SB 173), including the following:
12 AAC 28.960. Registration of dental radiological equipment; 12 AAC 28.965. Inspection of dental radiological equipment; 12 AAC 28.970. Registration and inspection of forms; review of completed forms, are proposed to be repealed in full. The statutory authority for these sections was repealed by SB 173. The Department of Health now regulates the registration/inspection of dental radiological equipment.
