NOTICE OF ADOPTED AND FILED REGULATIONS OF
DEPARTMENT OF LABOR WORKFORCE AND DEVELOPMENT

On September 26th, Department of Labor Workforce & Development, Mechanical Inspection, adopted regulations in 8 AAC 61.720, 8 AAC 61.740, 8 AAC 90.105, 8 AAC 90.110, 8 AAC 90.110, 8 AAC 90.115, 8 AAC 90.130, 8 AAC 90.135, 8 AAC 90.137, 8 AAC 90.160, 8 AAC 90.162, 8 AAC 90.164, 8 AAC 90.185, & 8 AAC 90.900. These regulations allow for Alaska-based unions to test their members instead of the department.
These regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on September 28th, and are effective on October 28th.
The regulation changes will first appear in Register 248, January 2023, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
