NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25242023 – Southcoast Region Avalanche Lab Renovations

The Contractor shall provide bid documents for renovations to the former Alaska Marine Highway Systems shop at the Southcoast Region 7-Mile Complex located in Juneau, Alaska. Services include design and cost estimate development for all scoped services, and construction administration. Scope of design services may include, but not necessarily be limited to: HVAC upgrades; addition of mezzanine with offices, meeting room, restroom with a shower, and clean room/laboratory; data, communication and security upgrades; a commercial-grade electric vehicle charging station; and a roof access/platform with swing-out crane.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately November 2023 to March 2024.  Cost of these professional services is between $150,000 and $200,000.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than October 17, 2023 prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
