Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Alaska State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors.

On August 28, 2023, the Alaska State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 36 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations updated concern work experience requirements, definitions, and examination requirements for structural engineers.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor (or designee) on September 22, 2023, and will go into effect on October 22, 2023. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 248, January 2024 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
