RFP No. 25242015 – Mountain Village and Gambell Airport Snow Removal Equipment Building Replacement

The Contractor shall provide professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the design of a heated, 2-bay Snow Removal Equipment Building (SREB) at Mountain Village Airport (MOU) and a heated, 2-bay SREB at Gambell Airport (GAM). Each building will be standard size 52’x50’ with a concrete slab foundation. Services are anticipated to include:  Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Geotechnical Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, Environmental, Cost Estimating, assistance during Bidding and Construction, and Closeout Documentation.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately January 2024 to November 2028.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available September 19, 2023 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than October 10, 2023, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
