RFP 2023-0500-0212 Program Monitoring and Support: Child and Adult Care Food Program

The Department of Education and Early Development (DEED), Division of Finance and Support Services, is soliciting proposals for a contracting agency to conduct Administrative Reviews (ARs) for the USDA nutrition programs administered by local agencies in Alaska as required by DEED for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Contractor will be required to conduct complete ARs, including off-site, onsite, post review, closing review, data entry into required AR forms, and all other associated work for an AR, including the gathering and reporting of pertinent information. Additional functions will include development and/or participation in annual training, menu reviews, and technical assistance.
USDA requires state agencies administering federal Child Nutrition Programs to conduct CACFP ARs of all program operators during a two - three cycle. Program operators include Head Start agencies, non-profit organizations, for-profit businesses, tribal organizations, local government agencies, and school districts. DEED is seeking services to assist in conducting ARs for the federal fiscal year 24 (October 2023 – September 2024) with the option to renew annually for four years.
