The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (Division) received a request for approval of a Land Use Permit from JADE Energy Alaska, LLC (JADE) on May 22, 2023, requesting authorization for off-road travel, ice construction, and associated activities on state land between the Canning and Colville Rivers. Activities will be in support of oil and gas operations using approved vehicles. Details regarding off-road travel and ice/snow trail construction for the JADE 1 Exploration Program are described in the application. This is a general permit, and individual activities will be reviewed and authorized on a case-by-case basis under this permit.
