NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25232082 – Glenn Highway: Arctic Avenue to Palmer-Fishhook Road Safety and
Capacity Improvements Design Services

The Contractor shall provide professional design services for the above named project. Activities are anticipated to include; Surveying (control, topographic and ROW), Environmental Support, Alternative Analysis, Hydraulic and Hydrologic Analysis/Design, Traffic and Safety Analysis, a Design Study Report (DSR), Public Involvement Services; Plans, Specifications, Engineer's estimate(s) (PS&E), ESCP generation, Traffic Control Plans (TCP), Assistance during Bidding, Assistance during Construction and assistance with design closeout.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately August 2023 to October 2032.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $1,000,000 or greater.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available June 1, 2023 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than June 22, 2023, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
