Public Testimony
Thursday, June 1st | 3:45pm to 4:30pm
Members of the public are free to comment on any pertinent topic, but because of the guardianship crisis, we are interested in hearing from people on how this issue impacts families and individuals who have guardianships in place, as well as alternatives to traditional guardianship like Supported Decision-Making Agreements.
Guidelines:
- Individuals are invited to speak for up to three minutes.
- A speaker may be granted the latitude to speak longer than the 3-minute time limit only by the Council Chair or by a motion adopted by the Council.
- Speakers are not permitted to criticize or attack others.
- Anyone providing comment should do so in a manner that is respectful of the Council and all meeting attendees. The Council Chair maintains the right to stop public comments that contain inappropriate or inflammatory language or behavior.
