NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25232048 – DMVA Kotzebue Hangar Improvements Design Services 

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional architectural and engineering services for the repair of the sinking concrete parking apron and steel ramp upgrades of the DMVA helicopter hangar in Kotzebue, Alaska. Services anticipated to include civil and structural evaluation, geotechnical investigation, surveying, design, cost estimating, environmental services including hazardous material assessment, bidding support, and construction administration assistance.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately June 2023 to August 2025.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available April 10, 2023 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than May 1, 2023 prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
