Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: JASON DELONG

PROJECT NAME: LAS 34400

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
On the shoreline of a privately-owned upland parcel on the northwest portion of Big Lake.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
NE1/4 NW1/4 Section 26, Township 17 North,  Range 4 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY:
Applicant, Jason DeLong dba Rock Solid Pile Co. LLC, is requesting a land use permit for setting 11 pilings for a two-story dock in the State submerged lands of Big Lake.  The footprint of the pilings would be 30 feet by 20 feet, connected to privately-owned uplands.  All access to the water would be via privately-owned upland parcels leading to the proposed shoreline piling placement.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: January 1, 2023
End: December 31, 2027

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 2, 2023

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
