08739 Proposal To Extend State Airport Land Use - King Salmon

PROPOSAL TO EXTEND STATE AIRPORT LAND USE: The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend the use of Lot 4, Block 3, consisting of approximately 9,944 square feet of land, and a 378 square foot building, at King Salmon Airport under Permit ADA-08739 for an additional 5 years, to expire February 1, 2028.  Applicant:  Bristol Bay Telephone Cooperative, Inc.  Annual rent:  $2,441.48.  Authorized uses:  Non-Aeronautical – the continued operation and maintenance of a Permittor owned building to be used for the storage of communications equipment; storage of heavy equipment, cable reels and steel hardware in support of Permittee’s telephone operations.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed permit term extension without competition.  Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., March 16, 2023, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease.  The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.  Information is available from Sharyn Augustine, Statewide Aviation Leasing, PO Box 112505, Juneau, AK 99811-2505, phone (907) 465-6893 or fax (907) 465-1395 or email sharyn.augustine@alaska.gov.  Anyone needing hearing impaired accommodation may call TDD (907) 451-2363.
