NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25232053 – AMATS: Fireweed Lane Rehabilitation Design Services

Contractor shall provide professional design services for the AMATS: Fireweed Lane from Spenard Road to the Seward Highway project. Services are anticipated to include: Surveying, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Design, Traffic and Safety Analysis, Design Study Reports (DSR), Public Involvement, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (ESCP), Plans, Specifications, & Estimates (PSE), Electrical Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Utilities Agreements, Overhead/Subsurface Utility Engineering, Assistance During Bidding, Design Project Closeout, Assistance During Construction, and Construction Utility Coordination/Inspection.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately April 2023 to October 2028.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be over $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available January 23, 2023 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than February 13, 2023, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
