The Director of the Division of Oil and Gas (DO&G) has issued a decision of no substantial new information for the 2023 Alaska Peninsula areawide oil and gas lease sale. On October 25, 2022, DO&G issued a Call for New Information (CFNI) regarding the 2023 Alaska Peninsula areawide oil and gas lease sale. The CFNI requested interested parties to submit to DO&G substantial new information that has become available over the past year to supplement the most recent final findings for the area. The submission period ended on November 28, 2022.

The director finds that no substantial new information was received in response to the CFNI that would justify a supplement to the 2014 Alaska Peninsula Areawide, and therefore a supplement to the 2014 Alaska Peninsula Areawide is not required.  The complete decision is available attached to this notice and on the Division’s website at https://dog.dnr.alaska.gov/Services/BIFAndLeaseSale
