NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP No. 25232039 – AMATS: 4th Ave Signal & Lighting Upgrades Design Services
The Contractor shall provide professional services for the above-named project. The primary purpose of the 4th Ave project is to modernize the signal and lighting hardware on 4th Avenue between Cordova and Ingra Streets. Sidewalk and curb ramps will be replaced as needed to facilitate the lighting and signal upgrades. Services include development of a Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) assembly suitable for project bidding and construction; Historic Architectural Survey; Environmental Document and Permitting support; Design Study Report; Public Involvement Services; Erosion Sediment Control Plan; Assistance during Bidding, Design Project Closeout, and Assistance during Construction. The Contracting Agency may add similar projects (not yet identified) during the initial period of performance.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately March 2023 to December 2025. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. IRIS Program No: CFHWY00555 / Federal Project No. 0001657.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available November 23, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than December 19, 2022 prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number: (907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
