REEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS SECTION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING: The Alaska Workers' Compensation Division will conduct a public stakeholder meeting on December 19, 2022. This meeting is open to the public and will begin at 9:00 am. The meeting is scheduled to last one hour but may be extended depending on turnout and participation. This meeting will be held in-person and by Zoom video conference.
The meeting will be held in person at the following location:

Anchorage, Alaska
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss potential changes to the Alaska Workers’ Compensation regulations related to reemployment benefits, beginning with a focus on 8 AAC 45.440(b)(1) and developing a definition for suitable rehabilitation skills.
Public comment will be taken telephonically or in person on December 19, 2022. If you are unable to participate in-person or telephonically, you may submit written comments prior to the meeting. Written comments must be received no later than 5:00pm on December 16, 2022. Send written comments to:
