The Preliminary Draft Permit and associated documents are available to the applicant for a 10-day review. Following the close of the 10-day applicant review period, DEC will prepare a draft permit and fact sheet for a formal 30-day public review period. Public comments will be accepted during the formal 30-day review period. Proposed Project and Location:
The proposed discharge is secondary treated domestic wastewater from the City of Cordova Wastewater Treatment Plant from Outfall 001A located at 60.537723º North latitude and 145.780469^o West longitude. Discharge will occur at a maximum design flow rate of 0.7 million gallons per day to Orca Inlet. A mixing zone is proposed for ammonia, chlorine, temperature, fecal coliform bacteria, and enterococci bacteria.
