The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to lease Lot 5, Block 2000, consisting of approximately 34,485 square feet (ADA-09534) at Kodiak Airport for fifty-five (55) years. Applicant: Kodiak Parking and Storage. Annual rent: $10,690.35. Authorized uses: Non-aeronautical – 30’ x 40’ building for vehicle maintenance, tire repair and swaps, oil changes, cleaning, and other vehicle maintenance; extended long term parking on the bare lot; and 20’ x 80’ metal storage units (of varying sizes) for long term storage open to the public; operation of 500 gallon above ground fuel tank for dispensing fuel to Lessee’s rental cars only.

Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., November 14, 2022, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
