Summary: The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is requesting water quality data to prepare Alaska’s 2024 Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report (Integrated Report). The Clean Water Act requires states to identify whether its waters meet or exceed applicable water quality standards. DEC reports this information to EPA and the public in the Integrated Report every two years.
