INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for DOT&PF 7-Mile Building: Miscellaneous Mechanical Upgrades, Project Number SPFAC00280, will be received before 2:00 p.m., September 14, 2022 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project includes replacing five rooftop exhaust fans, installing vehicle exhaust units, replacing and installing duct work, plugging floor vehicle exhaust inlets, upgrading to direct digital controls, and associated electrical work. Demolition and installation work will require HAZMAT remediation.  The contract includes a Basic Bid and four (4) Additive Alternate items.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $200,000 and $500,000. The Project Substantial Completion date will be in 90 Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed (NTP).

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Those interested need to contact Travis Miller at travis.miller@alaska.gov  or 907-465-8139 24 hours prior to the visit to register for the site visit.  Meet at the front entrance at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801 to be escorted through the facility.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
