The Division of Innovation and Education Excellence is seeking a qualified complaint investigator to manage administrative complaints required under the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
This position is necessitated to have experience and expertise in complaint investigations and reporting specific to state special education legal standards. This is a federal requirement with applicable standards and regulations at the federal level as well as those specific to the state of Alaska. This position has traditionally been held by a veteran attorney, but this is not a mandatory requirement. The applicant should be the individual that will be accomplishing the work and be the point of contact for these activities.
