The Statewide Suicide Prevention Council (SSPC) will hold its quarterly meeting on Tuesday, August 23 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom.

These meetings are open to the public and an agenda with Zoom links are available upon request by emailing eric.morrison@alaska.gov.

There will be limited opportunity for formal public comment to SSPC members from 2:15 to 2:30 p.m. due to the short duration of the meeting. This public comment period will be available statewide by teleconference by dialing 253-215-8782 (Passcode: 498127)

If you wish to provide comment and you need special accommodation to participate in this process, please contact Eric Morrison no later than noon on August 22 to ensure that any necessary accommodations can be provided.

Alaska's Open Meetings Act (AS 44.62.310) requires all meetings of our Council be open to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in these meetings, but all comments and questions will go through the Chair of the proceedings. Any comments or questions from members of the public should be thoughtful and constructive when offering criticism and should not be used to criticize or attack specific individuals.
