INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Sleetmute Airport Resurfacing, Project Number AIP 3-02-0272-001-2022 / CFAPT00293, will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 24, 2022 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will resurface the runway, taxiway, and apron, extend runway safety areas, replace the existing snow removal equipment building, replace the airport lighting system, replace the segmented circle and wind cone, and replace aircraft tie-downs.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 30, 2024.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
