Brief Description: The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing proposes to decrease the temporary permit and temporary license fees for physicians and physician assistants; repeal the occupational licensing fees for mobile intensive care paramedics.
The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development (Department) proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 02 of the Alaska Administrative Code including the following:
12 AAC 02.250. State Medical Board, is proposed to decrease the temporary permit and temporary license fees for physicians, podiatrists, osteopaths, and physician assistants, and to repeal the licensing fees for mobile intensive care paramedics (MICP) because of the 2021 legislation (SB 21), transferring regulatory authority over licensure of MICP from the State Medical Board to the Department of Health and Social Services.

The comments must be received not later than 4:30 p.m. on August 31, 2022. Comments received after this deadline will not be considered by the Department.
