Request for Proposals (RFP) 2023 1000 0012 As-Needed Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage Consulting Services

ADDENDUM 2: Addendum 2 serves to change the RFP closing date from August 1, 2022, to August 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM Alaska Time.

ADDENDUM 1: Addendum 1 serves to answer questions from vendors.

PURPOSE: The Department of Natural Resources, Commissioner’s Office, is soliciting proposals to assist the Commissioner of Natural Resources to investigate the potential development of the Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) industry within the State of Alaska. The Commissioner is seeking external consulting expertise to aid the Department in understanding the rapidly developing CCUS industry and the impact of State policies on potential CCUS projects. The Commissioner is seeking a consultant with experience and expertise in the development of the CCUS industry and/or CCUS projects, as well as the impact of State regulatory, environmental, and financial policies on the CCUS industry.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE: In order for offers to be considered responsive offerors must meet these minimum prior experience requirements:
  • The Consultant must have a minimum of one year prior experience working on Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) projects, either working on commercial development of projects and/or regulation of CCUS project activities.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on August 1, 2022.
