REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Sealed Proposals for Boney Courthouse Mechanical Upgrades and Earthquake Repairs REBID, Program Number PA-10-AK-4413-PW-00291/2501000113-A, will be received before 4:00 p.m., August 2, 2022 in the office of the Chief of Contracts, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally reimbursable project includes replacement and upgrades to the existing mechanical heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment damaged during the 2018 earthquake.  This includes replacing two central air handlers, return fans, louvres, heat exchangers, pumps, and associated ductwork in the penthouse mechanical room.  The work also includes an Enhancement option to replace the two building relief fans and associated silencers located in the penthouse.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project substantial completion date will be November 15, 2023.

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.   Meet outside the main entrance of the Boney Courthouse at 303K St. in Anchorage, Alaska to be escorted through the work areas.  In an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, offerors shall bring and wear a face mask or covering.  Interested offerors need to submit their names to Eric Hershey at eric.hershey@alaska.gov a minimum of 48 hours prior to the meeting. 

A second non-mandatory site visit is scheduled during the advertising period on July 26, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Meet outside the main entrance of the Boney Courthouse at 303 K St. in Anchorage, Alaska.  Those interested need to submit their names to Eric Hershey at eric.hershey@alaska.gov a minimum of 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Proposal documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
