The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (Division) received Unit Plan of Operations applications on May 27, 2022, and June 22, 2022, from Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (HAK) requesting authorization to install gas production facilities and drill a new well on Pearl Pad in the Ninilchik Unit. The Division is providing public notice and an opportunity to comment.

Location: Pearl Pad is located approximately four miles northeast of Ninilchik and is on privately-owned surface lands.
Project Description:
The proposed gas production infrastructure to be added to the existing pad would include produced water tanks, heater separator unit skids, compressor skids, glycol dehydration modules, and a vent scrubber. The pipeline would connect the Pearl Pad infrastructure to the existing Kenai Kachemak Pipeline (KKPL). One development well would be drilled that would produce from a State of Alaska Oil and Gas subsurface lease. The well would include installation of associated infrastructure including gas flowlines, electrical installation, well cellars, and conductors.
