NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Hoonah Harbor Way Pedestrian Imp. & Pitt Island Cemetary Walkway- CMGC
RFP Number 25223025
The Southcoast Region for the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities) invites proposals from general construction contractors to serve as Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC)" for Hoonah Harbor Way Pedestrian Improvements & Pitt Island Cemetery Walkway. The CMGC procurement is intended to encompass all materials, labor, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary for the complete construction of the project, including any preconstruction related services during the development process.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from June, 2022 to December 31, 2024. Cost of these professional services is expected to be under $200,000 (Preconstruction Services) and between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000 (Construction Services).
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available May 5, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4420. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than May 26, 2022, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau. Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages.
Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number: (800) 770-8973, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.

If you download a Request for Proposal (over $100,000) from this page, you must register with the respective regional plans room to be placed on the planholders list for that project and to receive subsequent addenda. Every effort will be made by the Department to insure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued. Addenda may be issued by any reasonable method such as mail, telefacsimile, express delivery service, and electronic posting to this website. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to insure that he has received all addenda affecting the RFP. No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
