NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25222059 – Hope Hwy: MP 7.9 & MP 12.9 Pipe Replacements Design,
Surveying and Mapping Services

The Contractor shall replace failing culverts at select locations along the Hope Highway. Additional improvements may include, as necessary, roadway resurfacing, erosion protection, ditching, guardrail, signs, and striping. Anticipated services include: Field Reviews, Surveying and Mapping Services, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Design, Coastal Engineering, Trenchless Design, Design Study report, Public Involvement, Erosion Sediment Control Plan and Traffic Control Plan, Plans, Specifications, and Engineer’s Estimate, Assistance During Bidding, Assistance with Design Project Closeout, and Assistance During Construction.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately July 2022 to October 2024.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available April 22, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than May 16, 2022, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
