NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25222055 – Sterling Hwy MP 169-175 Pavement Preservation Design Services, Plus 

The Contractor shall provide professional design services for the above-named project, which are anticipated to include Surveying and Mapping, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Design, Electrical Design, Design Study Report, Public Involvement, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, a Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) assembly suitable for project bidding and construction, as well as assistance during bidding and construction. The Contracting Agency may add up to three (3) similar pavement preservation projects during the initial period of performance.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2022 to December 2024.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available March 23, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than April 13, 2022, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
