The Alaska Department of Fish and Game Gene Conservation Laboratory (GCL) is soliciting bids for Whole Genome Re-sequencing of pink salmon libraries. Although GCL cannot guarantee a minimum quantity of purchase, based on projections, GCL expects to sequence approximately 13 sequencing-ready libraries from a total of 1,200 fish, tagged with dual-barcoded 8 base-pair (bp) i5 and i7 Illumina Nextera DNA indexes, the estimated equivalent of up to 30,000 gigabases.
