INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Napaskiak Airport Snow Removal Equipment Buildings, Project Number AIP 3-02-0189-0XX-20XX/CFAPT00278, will be received before 2:00 p.m., April 13, 2022 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to demolish, remove and dispose of existing facilities and to construct two (2) new snow removal equipment buildings for the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (the Department) at the Napaskiak Airport as described in the Contract Documents.

A virtual, non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday March 15, 2022 from 10:30-11:30am. Please submit your name and email address to the Project Manager, matthew.epp@alaska.gov, 24 hours in advance in order to receive the link for the virtual meeting.

The Engineer's Estimate is $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 30, 2023.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
