The purpose of this meeting is to establish a complete record of information relevant to the evaluation of the RIK contracts proposed by the Department of Natural Resources as published in the following documents:

The Department of Natural Resources posted public notices for these Preliminary Best Interest Findings on January 31, 2022.
The 30-day public comment period ends on March 2, 2022, at 4:30 pm (Alaska time).

The purpose of this meeting is for the board to (a) complete and close the record for the proposed RIK contracts, (b) deliberate on the merits of the RIK contracts and (c) reach a decision on whether to recommend the proposed RIK contracts to the legislature.
These meetings will be held from one of the conference rooms of the Department of Natural Resources. However, participation by the members of the public will be through the digital platform Microsoft Teams.
The public may provide comments or questions at the time that the members of the Alaska Royalty Oil and Gas Development Advisory Board deem appropriate during this meeting. These meetings will be recorded in accordance with 11 AAC 26.120. The Alaska Royalty Oil and Gas Development Advisory Board may amend its proposed agenda and may consider other agenda items during these meetings.
