Lease Agreement ADA-03702 at Fairbanks International Airport

PUBLIC NOTICE

PROPOSAL TO AMEND A LEASE OF LAND

AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

 

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, has received a request to amend Land Lease Agreement ADA-03702 at Fairbanks International.  The lessee is Karl and Kristy Braun. The agreement is in holdover, and the proposed amendment would extend the term of the lease by 5 years – through January 31, 2025.  The existing lease expired on January 31, 2020.  This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. 

Written comments or competing applications must be received by 5 p.m., February 18, 2022, after which the Airport Manager will determine whether or not to execute the lease.  Information is available from the Airport Leasing Office, Fairbanks International Airport, 6450 Airport Way, Suite 1, Fairbanks, AK  99709, telephone 907-474-2525.  Anyone needing special accommodations may call TDD 1-800-770-TYPE.

The department reserves the right to correct technical defects, premises description, term, or purposes and may reject any or all applications or comments.
