Notice of Utility Tariff Filing

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that TDX Adak Generating, LLC (TAG) filed TA69-684, a revenue requirement study based on a 2020 test year. With this filing, TAG proposes an across-the-board interim rate increase of 13.65 percent, effective March 1, 2022. TAG also proposes an across-the-board permanent rate increase of 40.96 percent phased in over three years. TAG proposes Phase 1 to be the interim rate increase; Phase 2 to be effective the latter of January 1, 2023 or 30 days following the final order if the filing is suspended; and Phase 3 to be effective January 1, 2024. A table of the current, proposed interim, proposed permanent Phase 2, and proposed permanent Phase 3 rates are shown in the table below.

TAG has requested waivers of 3 AAC 48.275(a)(8), the requirement to provide a schedule showing the computation of the pro forma provision for income taxes; 3 AAC 48.275(a)(12), the requirement to provide a schedule showing the computation of the weighted cost of capital; and 3 AAC 48.275(a)(13), the requirement to provide a schedule showing all liabilities of long-term debt.

Concurrent with its revenue requirement study, TAG filed a petition to classify the TDX and Subsidiaries Consolidated Financial Statements for the Years Ended December 31, 2020 and 2019 as confidential.
