PROPOSAL TO AMEND A LEASE OF LAND

AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, has received a request to amend Land Lease Agreement ADA-90855 on Block 100, Lots 8, 9 & 16 to now include Block 100, Lot 6A consisting approximately 30,250 square feet, at Fairbanks International Airport.  The total square footage for the lease is now 262,125 square feet. The lessee is Wright Air Service, Inc. and the existing lease will expire on October 31, 2072.  The additional leasehold area would be used for additional aircraft staging and operations.  This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. 

The revised annual rental for the leasehold area is $31,455.00 based on the aviation rate of $0.12 per square foot per year.

The Department reserves the right to correct technical defects in the premises description, lease term, or the purposes of any amendment issued and may reject any or all comments.
