The Delta Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet and hold elections on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021 at 6:30 pm at the Delta Junction City Hall located at 2288 Deborah Street. This meeting is open to the public. 
CORRECTION: There are currently THREE regular members with expired seats, NO alternate members with expired seats, and 1 vacant seat for a total of FOUR seats up for election. 
Nominations will be called for by the Chair at the start of the meeting, and voting will be in-person only. The meeting will be accessible by phone or web conference, but remote participants will not be able to vote.  
To be eligible to make nominations or vote in an election of a Fish & Game Advisory Committee, you must be a voting-age resident of the area served by the committee as defined in 5 AAC 96.910(10) and attending the election meeting. The areas served by the Delta Fish and Game Advisory Committee as defined in 5 AAC 97.005 are Game Management Units  12, 20, and the Tanana River. Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources, and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
