Brief Description of Proposed Project:
Anchorage Park Foundation is seeking funds though the Recreational Trails Grant Program to create a safety and education video for new users to access Chugach State Park multi-use trails in the Anchorage area. The video will feature safety, trail etiquette and details about multi-use trails. The video will advertise the Glen Alps video webcam so users can see when the parking lot is too full and find another trailhead to begin their adventure. The video will also provide information about a curated year-round multi-use trail experience called Mountains to the Sea – linking Chugach State Park to Anchorage’s Moose Loop trail. Video Project will be started and completed summer of 2022 – per RTP guidelines.
