VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING
FOR
Unalaska Airport Master Plan Update
Project Number SFAPT00290
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) invites you to participate in a VIRTUAL ONLINE PUBLIC MEETING for the Unalaska Airport Master Plan.
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is updating the 2008 Master Plan for the Tom Madsen Airport (Unalaska Airport).
The airport offers critical infrastructure used by commercial fishing, residents, health services, and others. The right airport configuration will help support air carriers in providing frequent and safe air service.
The Master Plan focuses on aircraft likely to use the airport in the next 20 years. DOT&PF has selected a draft preferred alternative for airport layout in the Master Plan and outlined an airport improvement implementation plan that addresses financial, environmental, and construction phasing considerations.
