The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. application for Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ0267MSS10 for the Central Production Facility #1. 

Applicant: ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., P.O. Box 100360, Anchorage, AK 99510-0360

Location: 70º 19´ 24" North; 149º 36´ 30" West

Activity: ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. applied for a minor permit under 18 AAC 50.508(6) to revise the terms and conditions of a Title I permit, and under 18 AAC 50.502(c)(3) for an increase in SO2 emissions greater than 10 tpy at an existing stationary source emitting 40 tpy or more of SO2.

Emissions: Emissions will decrease by 70.6 tpy NOx, 31 tpy CO, 3.7 tpy VOC, and 13.6 tpy PM-10/PM-2.5. SO2 emissions will increase by 18.9 tpy.

ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50.

ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period
