NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Valdez Snow Removal Equipment Building (SREB) &
Deicing Material Storage Building (DMSB) Design Services
RFP No. 25222010

The Contractor shall provide professional architectural and engineering services for demolishing the existing SREB, and design of a new 3-bay heated SREB (approx. 9,000 SF), and a new DMSB (approx. 2,400 SF) in Valdez, Alaska. Services are anticipated to include project scoping, geotechnical exploration, environmental review and documentation, survey, design, assistance during bidding and other related design services deemed necessary.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately December 2021 to December 2026.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available September 10, 2021 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than October 4, 2021, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
