REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Sealed Proposals for Boney Courthouse Mechanical Upgrades and Earthquake Repairs, Program Number 25010001113, will be received before 4:00 p.m., October 4, 2021in the office of the Chief of Contracts, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.
This federally funded project includes replacement and upgrades to the existing mechanical heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment damaged during the 2018 earthquake. This includes replacing two central air handlers, return fans, louvres, heat exchangers, pumps, and associated ductwork in the penthouse mechanical room. The work also includes an Enhancement option to replace variable air volume boxes and upgrade associated controls in the basement.
The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project completion date will be August 31, 2022.

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 2:00pm. Meet outside the main entrance of the Boney Courthouse at 303K St. in Anchorage, Alaska to be escorted through the work areas. In an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, offerors shall bring and wear a face mask or covering. Interested offerors need to submit their names to Brian Logan at brian.logan@alaska.gov a minimum of 48 hours prior to the meeting.
