Lease Agreement ADA-32376 & ADA-30773 Airplane Hangars, Inc, at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Lake Hood Seaplane Base

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LAND LEASE: The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (Airport), Lake Hood Seaplane Base proposes to execute new Land Lease under ADA-32376 & extend Land Lease ADA-30773, as follows:

LESSEE: Airplane Hangars, Inc; PREMISES:  ADA 32376 - Block 16, Lot 3C; 89,476 sq ft; LAND LEASE TERM: up to thirty-five (35) years; LAND RENTAL RATE: $0.12 per square foot per year; PROPOSED AUTHORIZED USES: This Lease is issued for the use of the Premises for the following authorized uses:  Construction, operation, maintenance and use of aircraft hangar and ramp facilities for fixed and rotary wing aircraft use, maintenance, repair, parts, parking, tiedown, storage; Operation of aircraft dealerships; aircraft and parts sales, service; aircraft operations; maintenance, repair; float storage and repair; pilot shop; fixed base operations; aircraft parking/storage; avionic/radio shop sales, service, parts; Uses incidental to the aviation uses listed above such as limited parking areas and storage/ office space that do not interfere with the primary aviation use purposes of the facility.

LESSEE: Airplane Hangars, Inc; PREMISES:  ADA 30773 - Block 16, Lot 6C; 70,288 sq ft; LAND LEASE TERM EXTENSION:  up to five (5) years; LAND RENTAL RATE: $0.12 per square foot per year; PROPOSED AUTHORIZED USES:  Operation of aircraft dealerships; aircraft and parts sales, service; aircraft operations; maintenance, repair of aircraft; float storage and repair; pilot shop; fixed base operations; aircraft parking/storage.

This file is available for review during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, at Lake Hood Seaplane Base Office, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, located at 4451 Aircraft Drive, Ste. H, Mail Stop 2544, Anchorage, Alaska.  Comments may be submitted in writing to: Attention: Tim Coons, Lake Hood Seaplane Base, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, 4451 Aircraft Drive, Ste. H, Mail Stop 2544, Anchorage, Alaska, 99519-6960, but must be received by 4:00 P.M. on or before September 30, 2021 after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the Land Leases.
