INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Seward Highway: MP 25.5 to 36 Trail River to Sterling Wye Rehabilitation Drilling Services, Project Number 0311031 / Z546590000-A, will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 20, 2021 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded contract will perform drilling along the Seward Highway between Trail River bridge and Sterling Highway Wye. The work will include approximately 58 total on and off-road test holes and 11 test pits. Some test hole locations are located in steep, mountainous terrain requiring specialized equipment for access. The planned drilling is in support of gathering geotechnical design data and will be supervised by a Department engineering geologist.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $200,000 and $500,000. The Contract completion date will be December 31, 2022.
